The story of the StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty Limited Edition cover is one of those rare situations where a person makes an offhand comment that turns into something special.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n During a preliminary review of the cover concept, someone on Blizzards end of the conference call said \u201cthat might look nice monochromatic?\u201d The comment went unnoticed in the meeting, but it was all the inspiration necessary. After I adjusted the art to a silvery Ansel Adams look and added a refractive foil behind the logo to make it pop, the cover was approved.
